annie

I pet Annie for about 10 minutes today! I opened one side of her cage and reached in to pet her. She has a little cat cube and I reached inside, SLOWLY, and eventually made it to her paw. She let me pet under her chin (of course no cat could refuse that!), her face, [...]

annie

Annie let me pet her today! She let me pet her nose and a little around her ears. I pet her for about a minute until she let me know that she had had enough. I didn’t try to pet her the rest of the night.

feral cat

Feral Cat

I started sitting next to her cage today, reading or watching something on my ipod, while talking to her a bit. I am not sitting there for very long-at the most, 20 minutes. She is very cautious and if I get too close to the cage, she lets me know with a hiss or swat [...]

feral cat

I noticed that after I would leave the room, I could hear the cat moving around and shredding the newspaper that I put in the bottom of it’s cage. I was curious to see what it was doing so I videotaped it. I saw it playing a bit and trying to get out. It was [...]
